The Ankh is known as the key of life, the key of the Nile or crux ansata (Latin meaning "cross with a handle"), was the ancient Egyptian hieroglyphic character that read "eternal life".

This piece is almost completely strung with CRAW stitch (Cubic Right Angle Weave) with a Swarovski Rivoli at the center.

The step-by-step instructions have clear diagrams and photo's of each step. Also a materials list and the color charts of both examples are included with the tutorial.

 

Materials needed:

- 12mm Swarovski Rivoli

- 11/0 seedbeads

- 15/0 seedbeads

 

Skill level: Advanced

You need to be comfortable with CRAW stitch, the basic technique is not explained, just how to use the stitch to create this necklace.
